Instead she boldface lied and ran to warn Amy.Ĭoncerning Amy, is Ben hallucinating about this e-diary? Did she really write these things? If so, what the hell?!? When Adrian went on her rant she did mention that Amy at least loved Ricky, but she didn't want to get married. While I'm glad Ricky didn't fall into her trap the way Jack did, Grace could've used Jack's confrontation as an opportunity to be truthful about her hesitations. Maybe you should go get some help and stop hurting people around you. He knows that if Adrian is miserable, she needs everyone else around her to be miserable too. Good thing Ricky can see straight through that BS. Even if she did do them a favor, her delivery was awful. Part of me wants to say that she did them a favor, but the other part of me is thinking it's just none of her business. My sympathies extend to Adrian in that manner however, her behavior to Jack and Ricky was straight up crazy. For starters, he shouldn't have slept with Adrian when he knew he was going to end it especially not the night before. Seriously?!? It might be a family heirloom, but he could've gone about things a little bit better. "Oh by the way, I need my ring back." Hold up a second. then dropped the bomb the next morning while she was headed out to class. He spent a whole night having sex with her. But the way he sprung that breakup on Adrian was classless. The thing is, I always thought Omar was a pretty stand up guy. Though it might save them both from a lot of future heartache, the present situation is definitely not enjoyable. Lest you think I'm being too hard on Adrian, I'll start by saying that it sucks what happened between her and Omar. Only a few episode left of The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Chloe needs to not get involved with her psycho pimp again. Having sex to get out of her marriage? Not so much.īen needs to move to New York and date some other girls. Grace kept making it clear that she wanted alone time which is something I can definitely respect. I hope that we have finally found a resolution with Amy and Ricky, but Grace and Adrian have a lot to work out. It was sad to see Nora and Willadean hurt Anne, but I guess that's just life. I think it also helps to keep this large and crazy family united. It's great to see how those two women could be friends and relate despite having shared the same man at different parts in their lives. Probably my favorite scene of the episode was when Anne and Kathleen bonded. I always thought he was Amy and Ricky's biggest supporter, but now I think he's trying to control everyone. George is acting really old fashioned with all of the "immoral" talk. I hate to say this, but I also feel like she's not really thinking of John at all. Relationships are really hard work, I'm not sure how Amy intends to hold it all together when she moves to New York. He doesn't deserve to be jerked around and he didn't deserve to hear about Amy going to summer school through Nora. Ricky has turned into a great guy and a great father over the years. I think the bottom line is that she need to be honest with herself and she needs to be honest with Ricky. She wants to have her cake and eat it too. Week after week it's clear she loves him, but I'm not sure she's in love with him. It's been so obvious to the audience that Amy is so conflicted over what to do with Ricky. I think you either get married and stay here or you move to New York and go to school, but not both. However, no amount of self-confusion could cloud Anne's mind when it came to daughter Amy's problems. She admitted to Kathleen how lost she was feeling and that she almost felt caught between two worlds. Anne blew back into town to find her former family had moved on without her.
